VIADUCT Annual Conference, 22-23 October 2020, online
The VIADUCT Annual Conference, scheduled in March 2020 and postponed due to COVID-19, took place online from 22-23 October 2020.
The VIADUCT – Enhancing VIsibility of the Academic DialogUe on EU-Turkey CooperaTion Final Conference, organised by consortium partners TEPSA and CETEUS. The conference, entitled “Bridge Over Troubled Water: Researching & Teaching EU-Turkey Relations”, and organised in the framework of the Erasmus+/Jean Monnet network “VIADUCT – Enhancing Visibility of the Academic Dialogue on EU-Turkey relations”, aimed at exploring innovative ways and new agendas for teaching and researching EU-Turkey relations.
As the VIADUCT project has entered its final year of implementation, the project partners and interested public met online to wrap up three years of successful cooperation and joint activities on teaching and researching EU-Turkey relations at the VIADUCT Third Annual Conference “Bridge over Troubled Water”.

Angelina Eichhorst will be our keynote speaker at the conference. As Managing Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans, Turkey and United Kingdom at the European External Action Service, she will share with attendants her expertise on negotiating EU-Turkey relations and her first-hand experience in this field. Wolfgang Wessels, the Director of CETEUS and an EU-Turkey relations expert, will be introducing the keynote speech, which will be chaired by VIADUCT Director Funda Tekin.

The conference, entitled “Bridge Over Troubled Water: Researching & Teaching EU-Turkey Relations”, and organised in the framework of the Erasmus+/Jean Monnet network “VIADUCT – Enhancing Visibility of the Academic Dialogue on EU-Turkey relations”, aimed at exploring innovative ways and new agendas for teaching and researching EU-Turkey relations. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, unfortunately, this event was cancelled.
