On November 14th 2018 the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy organised in the framework of the VIADUCT project a Public Event/ roundtable discussion on the theme of 'migration', titled 'the EU-Turkey Statement and the future of asylum'.

Discussants included Prof. Ayhan Kaya (Bilgi University, Turkey), Dr. Angeliki Dimitriadi (ELIAMEP, Greece) and Kövecsi-Oláh Péter (Migration Research Institute, Hungary)

The event was attended by 120 participants, policy makers, embassies representatives, NGOs as well as students of International Relations and general audience and was live-streamed via facebook. Discussion focused on assessing the Statement and its impact both as a blueprint for other partnerships but also on the EU-Turkey relationship on migration.
